Former Trump White Home lawyer Stefan Passantino sued crooked prosecutor Andrew Weissmann for defamation over a tweet claiming that Passantino “coached” January 6 witness Cassidy Hutchinson to lie below oath.

Defendant knew this to be false, or mentioned it with reckless disregard for its falsity, as a result of the transcripts of testimony confirmed that Mr. Passantino had performed nothing to impede or form Ms. Hutchinson’s testimony and certainly confirmed the other as she acknowledged that “Stefan by no means advised me to lie” and that “he advised me to not lie.”
Defendant selected to smear Mr. Passantino due to partisan animus and Mr. Passantino’s prior affiliation with President Trump. Moreover, Defendant attacked Mr. Passantino as a method of distracting from and rehabilitating the contradictory and uncredible facets of Ms. Hutchinson’s testimony, as they undermine the Choose Committee and its partisan findings and function.
