People will work like hell to make money, but this nation will never compensate them for the services they provide. Pitiful.
Where all these jobs at
Ridiculous how they act like this is real.
Santelli must be fuming that he can't turn this some way into a negative for Biden
New jobs
is people who already have a job a full time getting a second job
Because we are struggling
More jobs will be created as freshers will join the workforce over next few months. Unemployment will fall below 3% by august
jobs numbers are in fact fake…..all their numbers are fake
It’s almost like people are having to take on multiple jobs to make ends meet. I’m sure that has nothing to do with these jobs numbers though.
"These numbers don't confirm my bias so I will believe they are fake numbers" – faux news sheep
How does Rick not mention the last 2 months revisions down?
Guaranteed Republicans will complain and say its just people being allowed to return to work
If the economy slowed ? Then why the Jobs beat ? So far a total Fail by the Fed . More Hikes are needed .
Lol all you sheep are so gullible. Next month they’re gunna revise it down 100k like they did in this report for March and February so both months are now below original expectations of those months.
Enjoy it while it lasts.. AI is about to drive the trend the other direction, and no policy will stop it.
$Fubo up +30% today. Massive beat Revenue and EPS 🎉🎉. 100% coming 🚀🚀🚀
No one is talking about the massive restatements for the last three months. Massive downward restatements. Why can't BLS get the numbers closer? Wonder why???
This is just people taking two jobs
I do not believe the unemployment numbers in America. There's something really wrong here because most of the people I know and the businesses that I visit are having a horrible time finding employees, even at elevated salaries. Something is wrong because I see also an increasing number of what appear to be illegal aliens working a lot of construction jobs and the like. So where did all the other people go after COVID came to a close? I have no idea. Burger King has problems, McDonald's has problems, some small construction companies are having problems, and some companies are having trouble keeping their doors open because they can't get enough employees. My local Walgreens drugstore and pharmacy is having trouble getting people. Locally I'm even seeing a reduction in the number of doctors and nurses. I know that we have maybe two ear nose and throat doctors in my area that has some 70,000 people. So I just don't believe any of this high employment numbers going back to the '60s. In the '60s unemployment was ridiculously low because the Democrats had us tied up in Vietnam for years and the draft was full bore. Right now the military can't get able-bodied people and are not meeting their recruitment requirements. Something is really wrong here in the way in which CNBC and the Fed and everybody else is counting these numbers. It's simply doesn't make any sense. But there certainly seem to be an awful lot of people willing to go into Portland stores and loot them until there's nothing left. Are those people in any kind of a job? What are all these gangs doing in New York City? Has gang land been accounted for as a job?
>>>What's the best way to make money from crypto investing?
I am so fortunate that I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever. I am a single mum living in Melbourne Australia who bought my second home in September and is hoping to retire next year at 50 if things continue to go smoothly for me🙃🙃
The previous 3 months were revised down massively.
CNBC didn't say a word about it.
Lies and propaganda.
That's all it is.
This jobs report figure isn't true ;"Employment gains in March, however, were revised lower to show 165,000 jobs were created during the month, 71,000 fewer than previously reported. February's job gains were also revised lower — to 248,000 from 326,000 — making job growth over that two month stretch lower than previously reported by 149,000." per yahoo. Truth is, the jobs figures each month revised lower lol
probably from people needing to work 2-3 jobs just to afford this damn rent and expensive shiii
More rate hikes
This is due to a decrease in the quality of your human resources. Because of the influence of black and Latin American immigrants this is what happened. Look at China growing rapidly. 😂
Look at China they prioritize their majority society over other communities and develop quality human resources. Immigrants for what is not profitable at all just a burden. Usa 💩
Americans really ought to get over 200,000 new jobs being added month after month. With 4,000,000 being born in the USA each year since the 1990s, 300,000 children are turning 18 each month on average.
We already know that fast food service readily hires revenue 14 and 15 year olds on some States. 17 Year olds are already working in fine in restaurants. USA has a glut of entry level job seekers who have no skills and no training.
68,000,000 under the age of 18 create a very stage number of day care jobs.
The challenge to the economy is getting available work force to move up the career skills ladders. On average, in the USA, 7500 are retiring daily and in doing do are removing many State licenses and many Associate degrees, Bachelors degrees, and Graduate degrees. These jobs are much more difficult to staff. USA has chronic shortages o business degrees, dentists, teachers, social workers, accountants, and many other jobs that require advanced training and/or State licenses.
In a recent survey, 20 o/o of USA medical doctors admitted they intend to leave clinical work this year. Some will become Medical School faculty instead.
Because 60 o/o of USA adults now have college credits, most of them have access to LIFETIME benefits at their school's Career Services Center, staffed by degreed human resource consultants. This is adding better coordination in the USA labor market.
In 1921– 1945, USA has 35,000,000 births. In 1996 — 2020, USA had 100,000,000!
Since May and June are high school and college graduation months, jobs numbers will be even higher.
Only those with no skills, no training, and immature behavior are seriously at risk of being left behind. USA economy needs skilled workers to seek better jobs to make room at the bottom of career ladders. Retirees are creating vacancies for skilled workers.
Biden bragging everyone has to work 2 or 3 jobs each now
If true then this is indeed a staggering number and shows that the US job market is still quite strong. While the U.S. economy is slowing, employment remains a bright spot. This figure also shows that the United States still occupies a leading position in the global economy, and it is hoped that this trend will continue over time. Despite some uncertainty in the market, the number offers some positive signs for the development of the U.S. and global economies.
Thank you Trump! 👍
these are great numbers:) the right-wing MAGA trailer trash must be in a panic:)
Actually, 253,000 more people went out and got a 2nd job to keep up with inflation.
The failure of SVB and everything happening has left the markets in shreds. I'm at a crossroads right now, deciding if to liquidate 200k portfolio down by 10%, and it's uneasy for me to not panic after my recent awful divorce. I just need investing ideas to afford my retiremen………
#253000 on #april…. thats more that i can #count lol…why #lose this????
Hey CNBC! Can you have this man explain how these numbers affect the market oppose to just saying, "POW THESE NUMBERS ARE BETTER THAN EXPECTED " Not all your viewers have a background in finance or the stock market. Please have this announcer report if this will be bad or good for the market and why…Example.. since this farmer payroll was up this will make markets sell off or not and why and how these numbers affect individual investors .
I wish they would stop saying add jobs or job growth. It's recovery a very big difference between adding. There has been no adding whatsoever recovering previous jobs is what it is. Also unemployment numbers are absolutely incorrect actual unemployment numbers are significantly higher 20% or more. Bill Clinton changed the way that unemployment was calculated.
Unemployment only includes those that are currently unemployed, receiving benefits, and actively looking for work. It does not include those that were never eligible for benefits to begin with or their benefits expired and they are still unemployed. Also according to the department of Labor these numbers are calculated based off of 60,000 phone calls made every month. So those are not even accurate cuz you have no idea who you're talking to
